Terms and Conditions

By participating in a Ninja Obstacle Sports Ontario (hereby referred to as ‘NOSO’) competition, I (the athlete) hereby authorize NOSO and the NOSO Host Gym to use and reproduce all pictures, videos, voice dialogue, or other audio of me or my likeness. I authorize NOSO to use all data, including my name, hometown, social media handles/names, or any other information disclosed by me to NOSO, and all other information regarding my participation in NOSO events (collectively “materials”) without any notice or compensation to me.

The materials shall remain the property of NOSO or its designees in perpetuity. Such materials will be used in connection with the business of NOSO or its designees in a manner authorized by NOSO. The rights set forth in these terms and conditions include, but are not limited to, the right to use, copy, and modify such materials in connection with websites, YouTube, Facebook, X, and Instagram accounts owned or operated by NOSO or its designees. The materials may be exploited throughout the world without notice or compensation to me whatsoever.

By participating in NOSO events, I acknowledge that participation in NOSO events may be hazardous, and I hereby assume all responsibility and risk for any accidents, sickness, or other mishaps, including, but not limited to, death, serious bodily injury, or permanent disability, that may result to me while competing with NOSO.

I understand that I am in good physical condition, and I am otherwise physically capable of participating in ninja training and NOSO events that involve running, jumping, climbing, swimming, and hanging for extended periods of time. I understand I may be falling from heights onto mats, padding, water, or other elements. I recognize ninja/obstacle sport is inherently dangerous, and obstacles may not move or react as anticipated.

I recognize my heart rate will be elevated at all times during training and events, and I do not suffer from any condition which may endanger my safety or the safety of others participating in the training.

By participating in NOSO events, I voluntarily, of my own free will, and on behalf of my executors, past, present, and future heirs, assigns, and personal and legal representatives, do hereby waive, release, and forever discharge NOSO and all of its officers, directors, employees, subcontractors, agents, and representatives from and against any and all claims, debts, demands, rights, liabilities, causes of action, losses, damages, costs, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys fees (collectively, claims) of whatsoever kind and nature arising, resulting from, or relating in any way to ninja warrior training or competition.

I agree and covenant not to sue or bring any claims against NOSO or any of its respective members with respect to any matters that result from or are related to ninja training or events associated with NOSO.

I have read the Code of Conduct and agree to its terms. In addition, I understand and agree that NOSO reserves the right to temporarily or permanently remove and/or ban athletes from participating in NOSO events for any reason.
